Sahalee Country Club (1/5)

The Sahalee Country Club is a private golf course and country club in the northwest United States, located in Sammamish, Washington, a suburb east of Seattle.

Sahalee was first envisioned in 1965, when two separate groups of golf club members – one from Inglewood Country Club, the other from Broadmoor Golf Club – decided concurrently that the greater Seattle area was in need of another championship golf course. Sahalee has held 98 PGA Championship, the NEC World Golf Championship in 2002, the USGA Senior Open in 2010 and hosted the 2016 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

This all weather, year round course is characteristically Northwest with majestic Douglas fir, red cedar and hemlock trees lining its narrow fairways. Sahalee’s 27-holes consist of three 9-hole courses of equal caliber (the North, South and East course), any two of which can be combined to a standard 18-hole course. This arrangement eliminates the need for call-ahead starting times and promotes greater freedom of play for all members.
